Is the car sharing app available on iOS and Android?
Yes, the Mondayshare car sharing mobile app is available for free download on the App Store (iOS 15+) and Google Play Store (Android 10+). It is compatible with all recent smartphones and optimized for smooth daily use.
The app enables employees to book a vehicle in under 30 seconds, check real-time availability, remotely unlock and lock the vehicle via the embedded telematics device, and complete photo inspections at departure and return.
Push notifications keep users informed at every stage: booking confirmation, pre-slot reminder and end-of-booking alert. The app is regularly updated with new features and improvements.
How do employees access the shared vehicle?
Vehicle access is handled entirely through the Mondayshare mobile app, with no physical key to collect or badge to manage. The vehicle key remains permanently inside.
The employee unlocks the vehicle from their smartphone through secure communication with the embedded telematics device (Bluetooth or cellular network). This system eliminates key cabinets, lost keys and access constraints tied to office hours.
Every access event is timestamped and logged in the management platform, providing full traceability for fleet managers. Locking at the end of a booking follows the same process, after completing the return inspection in the app.
Can we integrate the Mondayshare platform with our HRIS?
Yes, the Mondayshare platform features a documented REST API (OpenAPI specification) that enables integration with your HR information system and business tools.
User synchronization with your company directory (Active Directory, Azure AD, HRIS platforms like Workday, SAP SuccessFactors or BambooHR) automates onboarding, offboarding and department changes. Car sharing access rights can be assigned by department, geographic site or user group.
Beyond HRIS, the API also supports exporting booking, usage and consumption data to your internal reporting tools, accounting systems or CSR reports. Technical documentation is provided and our team supports your IT department throughout the integration process.
Where is the car sharing platform data hosted?
All data on the Mondayshare car sharing platform — bookings, user profiles, vehicle telemetry data, photo inspections and usage history — is hosted on servers located in France, fully compliant with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) requirements.
Communications between the mobile app, web platform and embedded telematics devices are end-to-end encrypted (TLS/HTTPS protocol and AES-256 encryption). User authentication is secured via one-time OTP (One-Time Password) codes, eliminating the need for passwords.
We conduct regular security audits and follow ANSSI (France's national cybersecurity agency) best practices to ensure the protection of your corporate data.
How do vehicle inspections work in car sharing?
Vehicle inspections are a key step in every car sharing booking, completed directly from the mobile app at departure and return.
The employee follows a guided process: photos of the vehicle from multiple angles (front, rear, sides, interior), flagging of any damage or anomalies, and free-form comments. Each report is timestamped with date, time and geolocation, then automatically archived in the management platform.
Fleet managers can view the complete inspection history for each vehicle, compare photos between bookings and quickly identify the origin of any damage. This system ensures transparency between users and greatly simplifies dispute management and fleet condition monitoring.
